MY STORY & PHILOSOPHY
For each and every beekeeper, there is a series of events that brings us to these marvelous little creatures. For me, saving bees has helped save me. Several years ago, I was in a car accident that could have taken my life. It is with great gratitude, that I am alive today. During my recovery, I discovered the hobby of beekeeping. A hobby that started with two little hives several years ago, has grown into a passion and love, and hundreds of thousands of bees.
For several years, I have cared for and tended my little ladies and responsibly harvested only honey, either giving it away or selling it to neighbours and friends. (I will have limited amounts of honey during harvest season and will list it as it becomes available.) I have always kept the wax cappings but never did anything with them. With several pales of unclean wax, I finally delved into learning how to clean and process beeswax, and then the delicate "art" of making beeswax candles.
I hope that you enjoy these candles, as much as the joy and healing that the bees have brought me.
Stay safe and well. Live simply, and always remember that nature only takes what it needs.

With gratitude,
Kathleen
